Every completed switchboard job requires a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) lodged within seven days. Since 1 July 2026, CCEW submissions go through the Building Commission NSW eCert portal, and hard copy and PDF forms are no longer accepted.
Do I Need a Level 2 ASP Electrician for Switchboard Work in Sydney?

The dividing line sits at the meter. Everything between the street and the meter, including service lines, overhead cables and underground mains, is Level 2 ASP work.
